Reserve Bank Seminar

Each year the Reserve Bank of Australia, in association with QETA, conducts seminars for Year 12 students covering monetary policy and the current conditions of the Australian Economy.

They are conducted by Cathie Close - Senior Representative of the RBA in Queensland.

These are conducted in Brisbane (four venues), Toowoomba and the Gold Coast.

Dates for 2017 are as follows:

20 February RBA Seminar 1 Cannon Hill Anglican College 11am

20 February RBA Seminar 2 Brisbane Girls Grammar School 4pm

21 February RBA Seminar 3 Toowoomba Grammar School 9am

22 February RBA Seminar 4 Cavendish Road State High School 7am

22 February RBA Seminar 5 Marist College Ashgrove 9.30am

23 February RBA Seminar 6 Gold Coast 9.30am - Somerset College 9.30am

The cost for these seminars is $5.50 per student and teacher where the school is a member of QETA. Cost for students and teachers is $7.70 for non-member schools. Individual members pay $5.50 for their attendance and $5.50 for their students.
